When I’m not in the clinic seeing my laser hair removal clients, I spend time at home with the family (2 small people, a cat and a very tidy husband). I don’t watch much TV. I don’t mean I don’t watch any, and I have my favourites obviously, but lots of things can pass me by. I didn’t ‘do’ Game of Thrones, Breaking bad, and I never watch soaps. I do however like a bit of ‘24’. Who doesn’t like Jack Bauer? Now there is a perfect example of a beautifully smooth chest. I wonder if he waxes? I’d like to treat him in the clinic….
Sorry, I digress.
Our television at home is generally tuned to children’s programmes (What did we do before Netflix?!) or sport (in our house it’s a case of if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em, so I shout at the screen with the rest of them throughout the sporting calendar.)
One of the things I missed but now wish I hadn’t is the Apprentice. In 2013, it was won by a young doctor (Well young to me – you know I’m now old enough to think that Doctors are ‘young’!!) called Dr Leah Totton – now I’m sure most of you know this already, but I’m only just finding out the detail. She, with the support and investment of Lord Alan Sugar, launched her clinic, Dr Leah Cosmetic Skin Clinics in London (www.drleah.co.uk), last January. (about a week after I launched Xodos, I think we had her worried….. )
I recently discovered that she uses the same technology that we use here at Xodos Aesthetics – the outstanding Soprano Ice® laser platform for permanent hair removal, as well as the Harmony Laser platform, which we fully intend to have in place by the end of the year. She also offers a plethora of other skin treatments and products (watch this space – Xodos is planning an expansion project this year!)
It just reassured me (not that I need reassuring, but it’s always nice to see others appreciate the same quality things in life!) that what we offer at Xodos is second to none, there really isn’t anything better to treat clients with – why would you choose anything else?
After all, Lord Sugar wouldn’t invest in just any old thing now, would he?
